Enrichment
Enrichment fills in the facts you’d otherwise google: industry, company size, location, description, a person’s title and LinkedIn profile.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Knobs runs a waterfall across the configured data providers (Coresignal first, Apollo.io optionally): each field takes the first confident answer, and later providers only fill gaps. Every filled field records its provenance — hover the colored dot next to a field to see which provider supplied it and when.
- Manual edits always win. A field you typed is never overwritten by a provider.
- New records are enriched automatically when auto-enrich is on.
- Stale data refreshes itself — contact fields after ~90 days, company firmographics after ~180 days, and immediately when an email to the contact hard-bounces.
- The Enrich button on any record runs the waterfall on demand.
Provider API keys are configured by the operator via environment
(KNOBS_CORESIGNAL_API_KEY, KNOBS_APOLLO_API_KEY); the order can be overridden with
KNOBS_CRM_ENRICH_PROVIDERS. With no keys configured the Enrich buttons report that
enrichment isn’t available — everything else works normally. Per-workspace toggles live in
Settings → CRM.
